Title: Workers Quotient
Portici Crispo - Sassari, Italy
The performance retrieve some food and cultural traditional aspects by using local products and a mask made specifically for the action from an artisan. Particularly, The work draws attention to a critical consumption of products and the tradition that has generated them.
Far from denying any potential benefit from the application of technology, the work emphasises the increasingly presence of automation of society and the side-lining of humans from productive/distributive processes.
The work’s title is taken from a terminology used by the journalist, philosopher and essayist Günther Anders (1902, Breslau - 1992, Vienna).
